Economy
In the face of record deficits we have seen substantial increases in the state’s budget while other states are taking steps to decrease theirs. This kind of irresponsible spending is not acceptable. We as ordinary citizens are tightening our belts during these tough times and we expect the same from our representative’s in government. I will be an advocate for spending reductions along with tax reform and will oppose any new taxes that prevent the growth of our state.

Environment and Land Conservation
New Hampshire is unique with its natural wonders and it is important that we preserve those wonders. I will support legislation that preserves and protects our state’s beautiful landscape.

Family
I am a pro-life candidate and believe in the strength of family. I oppose tax payer funded abortion and will support legislation that would demand more oversight and restrictions on these procedures. I also believe in parental rights and that parents should be notified prior to any medical procedure performed on a minor.

Gun Ownership
The second amendment of the Bill of Rights states: “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” New Hampshire residents have a right to keep their guns, carry their guns and protect their families. I will oppose any legislation that will infringe upon those rights.

Education
Investing in our children is an important step in the successful growth of our state. With the increase in student demand and shrinking class budgets it’s vital that we streamline our education system to function more efficiently. I will support legislation that puts our children and their families first. We owe it to our kids to provide them a quality education.
